• Reducing pollution, emissions, and waste as well as disposing responsibly
• Conservation of energy, water, and other resources as well as dealing with suppliers who promote a similar ethic
• Complying with existing laws and regulations government environmental protection and improving on them
• Rigorously auditing, self-assessing, and evaluating feedback to seek improvements in operations and practices – determining whether each practice is suitable in an environmental context
• Better understand the impact and consequences of business decisions on the environment
• Assisting customers in making business choices with an environmentally-friendly perspective
• Raise awareness and train staff on all the contents of this green policy statement
• Strive to continually improve on environmental sustainability and performance

More specifically, we at CAMSCAN Limited declare our intent to:

• Produce products that are efficient in their use of energy and that can be recycled or disposed of safely
• Strictly follow the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive on all of our products
• Seek better and more environmentally friendly ways of packaging products – using air pillows protective packaging techniques as opposed to foam wherever possible
• Use recyclable materials and purchasing environmentally friendly products and services
• Promote a “reduce, reuse, recycle” attitude within our organization and amongst our employees
• Use biodegradable alternatives to certain chemicals
• Training and using e-zines to encourage environmental sustainability practices and policies
• Promote recycling internally as well as to suppliers and customers
• Quantify objectives to implement this policy
• Produce and monitor progress reports reviewing performance annually
